Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity Women Build

The Rzonca home is in the finishing stages. The home is framed, sided and painted. Now the interior is being completed as the electrical and plumbing are being installed.

Meet Emily Peddicord, our Women Builder of the week. Emily talks about her experience as Women Builder.

“I first got involved with Habitat for Humanity because I felt my experience and connections could help build houses.
I naturally felt drawn the help with Women Build as well. This is my second year being involved with Women Build.
My favorite moment was seeing all the women in pink hardhats at the wall-raising last year.”

The Women Build, Rzonca family home will be one of our first homes at Avondale Cottages in the Ridgewood Hills Neighborhood. We are anxiously awaiting the completion of the lots! The roads are in and foundations will soon be poured. Avondale Cottages will be home to ten Habitat home buyer families.
