I am a proud member of this organization and it has given me so much clarity and focus in how to be a better organizer for reparations, especially the importance of winning support from the white community for the Black Power Blueprint project. It will be a discussion with Chairman Omali Yeshitela of the African People's Socialist Party, and Chairwoman Penny Hess of the African People's Solidarity Committee. Political education is important to this fundraiser I'm holding because we're not just "raising money", but this fundraising campaign for the March for Reparations is hosted by the Uhuru Solidarity Movement which is white people supporting an independent African economy so that black people everywhere can control their own neighborhoods and resources.
