Long story short

It all started at Pigeon Point Beach. Maybe like you, we discovered this beautiful and welcoming beach, and like you, we came across a few stray cats, rummaging through the garbage or begging for food for the more adventurous.

We started to feed and give them water every day.

Later, we came across another small family of 3 young cats in Falmouth Harbour.

We had to feed more cats and be there every day (and yes, they are waiting for us to come).

Also, none of these cats are spayed/neutered. We had to act.

This is the beginning of Tropicats.

What do you actually do for stray cats?

We are taking care of the stray cats living in our area by

  • feeding them
  • giving them antiparasitic and deworming treatments
  • spaying and neutering them
  • monitoring them and bringing them to the vet if they need medical attention
  • And of course looking for forever homes for adoptable cats

How many stray cats are you taking care of?

In June 2023, we take care of 30 cats and we help 3 family with low incomes to care for their cats.

     How can I help you?

This fundly is to help us with costs for food, parasitics & dewormer treatments, and for vet expenses when needed.

If you come to Antigua, you can bring us some things we need.  We will be happy to show you the south of the island and take you on a cat tour with us to meet all our beautiful stray cats.

You can share stories on social media about adoptable cats to help them find their forever family.

Thanks for all your help and encouragement
