Hey, everyone! Quick update! Today I deposited over 1,000 Dollars on to my outstanding balance at ORU! Wahoo!!! This is all thanks to your outstanding help! The search is still on for the remain 6,000! Let's keep pressing on! Blessed to have you all!

I woke up this morning at the beautiful Eagle Sky Lake in Piedmont MO. Serving at camp Eagle Sky Christian Challenge camp, as I awoke I was reminded of how great God is and all he is capable of. I have an incredible story of the faithfulness of God and how consistent he is through the trial and the change. I have no reason to doubt he will provide a breakthrough even though I can not see it yet. Today is the day the Lord has made and I am choosing to rejoice and be glad in it. I need your help.

I have some exciting news! The total left to raise is now only 7,000 dollars! Financial Aid and some last minute scholarship opportunities have come in! However, this is crunch time! I have to raise all 7,000 by the 6th of August! I can not do that without you! Please like and share this update!

Wow! It has been a few days since I last updated! I have been away at camps spreading the love of Jesus! But! I am back! We are well on our way to reaching our goal! Quick update! Some last minute scholarships and loans came in this past week! All that is left to raise is about 7,000 dollars! Please like and share this update! Nearly 6,000 left to raise! We can do this! Wow! Here we are day two of fundraising! We have made such incredible progress! Over 2,000 Views on social media! Over 600 dollars raised! And to top it all I am receiving some more incredible opportunities to increase my financial aid at ORU that did not exist days before! Today I will be sharing a video about the Profound Leadership I have had the pleasure to serve under and alongside while at ORU! Hello my name is Jonas Tucker-Alleyne. I am a current Student at Oral Roberts University. I currently need to raise 14,000 Dollars in order to return to school this next fall. Big number right? Kinda intimidating when you think of it. But, I want you to know the why behind supporting me. I am passionate about changing the world. Well so is every other millennial with a laptop and social media. But here is where I am different. I didn’t really choose ORU. ORU chose me. 50 years ago a man by the name of Oral Roberts swept across this great nation and the world changing the very landscape through healing evangelism and God’s word. At the height of his career as a traveling evangelist and minister, God placed a special vision on his heart. To train up students to hear God’s voice. To go where His light is seen dim and His voice is heard small. Where His healing power is not known. Even to the uttermost bounds of the earth. 50 years later ORU still stands. I have the immeasurable honor of calling this university my home. Nearly four years ago now I received a vision from God to be His hands and feet globally. Before attending ORU, I had no idea how. Admittedly, I came to ORU with an entirely different vision than the one that now resonates in my heart. I wanted to influence government from the top down in efforts to introduce incremental change. Now I stand four years later with a vision to change the world one heart, home, town, city, and nation at a time. Introducing people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ, while also consistently pushing businesses, non-profits, and churches toward sustainability in three areas: leadership, development, and growth. I aim to change how we view business, church, community, homelessness, broken families, and ultimately each other over the course of my life. While at ORU my dreams have come alive. My plans have grown and expanded. My knowledge has reached new heights. And my ceiling has never been higher. Over the coming days I will walk you through four different ways ORU has changed me, illuminating yet more reasons why I can’t bring myself to leave. The funds raised in this campaign will go directly toward paying for my tuition and supplemental cost of my education. If in the end, I do not reach the goal, the money will still go toward my education but at another university closer to home. I traveled 1500 miles to follow the Lords call. Leaving all else behind to pursue the plans the Lord has for me. Here at ORU we believe in making no little plans. To go to the uttermost bounds in excellence.
