When you go to the club or mutual event, Whats the first thing you look for? It could be the small talk between guests or the appealing appetizers that catch your eye first, but most people are looking for good music. No matter the type of event, the music is the main attraction. But what brings the music? In recent days, music has been transferred from analog to digital in a way that loses the very essence of musical production worldwide. A "disk jockey" is a term so few use in these days and times that a whole generation of musical evolution has gone overlooked. The DJ Kulture is a documentary focused on the evolution of the "disk jockey" in which we examine the process of developing and reproducing music while distinctively recognizing the forefathers of this musical movement. The basis of this project is to bridge the understanding of the struggles and dis/advantages in the DJ society from the pioneers in their own words verbatim. In layman's terms, DJs need love too.
