I'm the Board Chair of this incredible organization, Three Dollar Bill Cinema. My experience hearing and seeing my story on the big screen opened up self-acceptance and connection for me. We need you join us in supporting lgbtq film and filmmakers so that our stories can continue to be told, presented, and available. Our lives, our history, and our future depend upon it.
For 23 years, Three Dollar Bill Cinema has been at the center of queer film and media in Seattle. You have seen us through many successes and challenges over those years and your support has been unforgettable.

It's the first week of our campaign to raise money for queer film, and already 3 donors and $90 toward this cause!
It is up to us friends and family to fund untold stories. The photo attached is from one of my favorite films presented at this years TWIST festival - Maroni for President. Without TDBC, and folks willing to give what they can like you all, this story and others are rarely presented or heard in our city.
I loved this film because it learned about Navajo Nation, I shared in the lgbtq identify narrative, and heard firsthand from the filmmaker and subject of the film. It was an incredible experience, and with your help we can bring these same experiences once again in 2019.
