STEM-related careers are a huge part of the future. However, women are still woefully underrepresented in this growing and highly compensated segment of the workforce and COVID has further deepened the STEM gap. Data from the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey shows that:

  • Women comprise 47% of all US workers but only 25% of STEM workers.
  • At least 20% of women with STEM degrees do not participate in the STEM workforce.
  • The STEM attrition problem is even more severe when considering racial, ethnic, and socio-economic barriers.

Nvolve is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to change this underrepresentation by supporting college-aged women focused on earning a STEM degree. In collaboration with industry and academic partners Nvolve provides a range of programs to its scholars, including annual stipends, mentoring support, and experiential STEM learning. These programs enable a better educational experience and smoother pathways to STEM-related careers for STEM-focused women. Our program engages STEM students throughout the academic year --- providing them with a window into real-world ways of working

We are proud to be a fully volunteer-dependent organization and 100% of the tax-deductible donations from this campaign will be dedicated to student stipends. From now until November 30th, your donation will be matched* allowing us to help our growing population of STEM focused women succeed in college and beyond.

*Up to $5,000 of funds raised during this campaign will be matched.
