An unexpected illness of a student or parent, a need to quickly move apartments, an unplanned bill—all of these create a need for financial resources. Without access to funds to cover these expenses, these situations can jeopardize student success.

At the School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, we care about our students—and that means offering support outside of just the classroom. In 2013, SICE established the Student Emergency Fund. The account, supported by faculty, students, alumni, and friends, allows the School to offer financial support to students to help them through unforeseen circumstances.

Beyond financial support, recipients of the Student Emergency Fund know that their School supports them and wants to see them succeed. Will you help us offer support to our students when emergencies happen?
