The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Our Programs

Community-Based Programs: Spending time together out in the local community is primarily how Bigs and Littles develop their relationship. After all, to change a child’s perspective of the world, it helps to spend some time out in it.

School-Based Programs:  Sometimes the best place for enjoying activities together is at the child’s school. And, the best part is, it can be a great learning experience, in or out of the classroom.

At Big Brothers Big Sisters we are proud of the quality customer service and programs we provide.

Our professionally trained Case Managers are there every step of the way.

 Once a match is made we provide monthly match support to the Bigs, Littles and parents. 

Safety is our Number One priority and we achieve this through Match Support.

Match Support helps guide the development and strengthen the mentoring relationship

and is what separates us from all other mentoring programs.

Each time Big Brothers Big Sisters pairs a child with a role model, we start something

incredible: a one-to-one relationship built on trust and friendship that can

blossom into a future of unlimited potential.  We have the facts to prove it.

590 children served during 2013 via our community based sites and 11 school sites in Burlington, Camden & Gloucester Counties; 217 new matches made

88% of our Littles demonstrated improvements in grades 72% of our Littles demonstrated a reduction in risky behavior

66% of Littles show improved self-confidence

ONE hour a week / minimum ONE year commitment

The average length of our matches are:

15.3 months for school based

37 months for community based

6/29/2005 = the match date of our longest current match.
