Launched in May 2019, which is also Borderline Personality Disorder Awareness Month, Rəˈkro͞ot seeks to not only end the stigma historically associated with BPD, but also to empower any and every one afflicted with this often misunderstood mental health disorder.  “We want to challenge the rampant misconceptions that have plagued the millions of people dealing with BPD for far too long," said Elle Love Domingo, Founder and CEO of Rəˈkro͞ot. "Our purpose is to educate the public while simultaneously providing hope and the tools necessary for BPD victims everywhere to thrive as a community instead of suffering alone."

I am raising money for my start up business in activewear apparel that promotes and supports mental health awareness.  The funds will go towards product development, start up costs, hire employees, and TARA:  Treatment and Research for BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder).

I suffer from BPD, a personality disorder also known as emotion dysregulation.  As you might understand, a serious mental disorder can be incredibly distressful especially in personal relationships and workplace.  Removing the stigma surrounding the diagnosis can help.  It all starts with some understanding, empathy and a phenominal support system.  

Rekroot is dedicated to advocating for Mental Health.  To  help and support those  struggling with BPD and help families of those with BPD.  Rekroot has partnered with NAMI National Alliance Mental Illness to achieve its advocacy goals.
