Just a recap, the ministry that I am involved with works with commercially exploited, underserved, and abused women in the sex industry. Our main goal is to share the Gospel with them, giving them reason to have hope, joy, and experience the love of Christ. After this goal, we also work to provide safe housing, life skills training, job training, and a safe working opportunity. In 2015 we opened a bakery storefront that helps us to achieve these goals. Even before opening, we were able to serve underprivileged women in our community, and since the opening of our precious bakery shop, we have only seen our capacity to serve increase. It is our greatest joy to be ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the facilitators of new life in multiple ways.
I have lived here and worked with this ministry for five years now, and I am blown away by how much I love what I do. I truly believe God has given me the coolest job ever, and I am so grateful to join Him at work in reaching these women. Though it does not always feel easy, God has blessed this ministry and myself in numerous ways, too many to count.
