Education is not free in India! This keeps children in poor families stuck in the cycle of poverty.
At the Rock Christian School, education is free!
It is common that parents who send their children to Rock Christian School are Hindu in name only. Many or these children attending the school receive Christ as their personal savior in their time at the school and many parents find Christ as well!
Our team from Glad Tidings Church will be ministering at Rock Church of India in Rajahmundry, India. We will be doing dance, drama, puppets and more with the children. I am on the puppet team! We will also be constructing a roof for the orphanage and school. $45,000 gets them a tin roof, which as you can imagine, in a climate as in India, much of the time it would feel like being in an oven with hot sun on metal. $90,000 gets the kids and teachers a proper roof. With approx 41 people signed up to go on the trip, help me raise more than my goal of $3000 to help reach that $90,000 roof!
