Playing lacrosse in the World Lacrosse Games is one thing, but playing for one's country or heritage is monumental. It is a dream.

Expectations are extremely high for the team and country's third World Games appearance. While veterans will anchor both on offense and defense, several rising stars will look to capture the spotlight. The team feels this is the year they will finally be recognized as a top threat in the international lacrosse community.

However, traveling to Israel is not cheap, nor is accommodation, dining, equipment, uniforms or entry fees. We anticipate total expenses to be roughly $55k. Now consider this...the Polish dollar is one-third the US dollar.

A majority of the money raised has come out of the pockets of the players. So not only have they worked relentlessly to maximize their own skill level, but they have faced the challenge of paying for this trip on their own... all in the hopes of representing the country of Poland on an international stage. These guys deserve a pat on the back.

At this moment, our dream is within reach, but it cannot be sustained solely by the players. We need outside support, which is why we have started this fundraising campaign.

Out of the kindness of your heart, we, The Polish National Lacrosse Team, kindly ask for a donation of whatever you can manage, even if it is a dollar.

Thank you.

P.S.- The amazing aspect of your donation is that you can actually see its impact when we finally make it to Israel and compete in the World Games. What a great feeling it will be to know you just helped make someone's dream come true by making a relatively small contribution. Those opportunities only come about ever-so-often.
