Learning to Serve.  Serving to Learn.

The Annual Fund generates revenue that enables the Perry Service Learning (PSL) program to offer meaningful opportunities through a wide variety of activities and programs.

PSL strives to help students connect their living with their learning.  Your gift will make it possible for PSL students to participate in plunges and field trips designed to help them experience realities that are often different from their own. Moreover, your gift will enable PSL students to continue to plan, manage, and implement unique community events and services such as the PHS Giving Garden, the Pirate Power Pack Program,  Shantytown, the Holiday Food Drive, Community Green Day, the Band of the Pirates and so much more!  You may also designate your gift to support the Student Philanthropy Program, which helps inspire a new generation of students to give generously of their time, talent, and treasure.

All donations made to the Perry Service Learning annual fund are directly deposited into The Perry Local Schools account.  Contributions are deductible since the Perry Local Schools is an educational organization that is run by a public government entity.  This document from the IRS lists provides a Quick Check Table on page 3 that lists nonprofit schools under organizations that are deductible as charitable contributions (see page 3):  https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p526.pdf
