Meet our runner: Bhaskar Manda

Running didn’t necessarily save Bhaskar Manda’s life -as some athletes like to say- but certainly made it more enjoyable. He ran his first 5K in 2013 with LSNA and hasn’t stopped running since. Bhaskar thanks LSNA for its involvement in community issues like housing and the 606, and thinks the organization’s leaders do a good job “working for their own fitness and for the fitness of the community.” Any goals for the race? “Maybe a PR (personal best) for the 5K and raise $500 for the housing team”, says Bhaskar, now a seasoned 4-year veteran runner.
