In 1998 my son, who was born in Alexandria Romania, was taken to the local hospital to be vaccinated against the flu. A dirty needle used on several children from his small neighborhood resulted in him contracting HIV and Hepatitis A and C. This mission is personal for me not only because my own child has been a victim of this terrible affliction which has stunted his growth and made his life an arduous journey of pain and discomfort, but because so many other children received the same horrendous treatment and no one has made restitution for this from the Romanian government. Something must be down to help ensure they have a future. A future taken away by their own government.
