Leadership Training 2018

This summer I will be trekking out to Estes Park, Colorado with my campus church, Cornerstone. Currently with Cornerstone, I serve weekly as a hospitality coordinator for my small group and also on Sunday mornings with our worship team. It’s been an amazing year of growth for our church and also for me personally in my walk of faith.

To give you a bit more info, Cornerstone is part of the Collegiate Church Network that runs a program annually called Leadership Training that I will be taking part in this summer, along with students from other universities all across the country. I will be going out to Estes Park, Colorado for eleven weeks and working a full-time job at the YMCA of the Rockies while being a part of LT. 

The LT program is designed to help college students grow in maturity as they walk in Christ, particularly in doctrine, character, and ministry skills. Most students experience growth in their knowledge of God’s word, their interpersonal ministry skillset, and how to better reach the lost. This summer I am hoping that through the LT program I will personally grow in everyday faith.

One of the more exciting challenges I have for this summer is developing a ministry team of prayer and financial support. This summer is one of those seasons of life that I hope will benefit me for years to come. I am looking to raise $900 to participate in the program this summer.
