Jill Marie (Taylor) Goeglein passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 4th, 2019.  She was born February 24, 1967, to the late Tom R. and Sondra K. (Rebber) Taylor.  

Raised on a farm in eastern Bartholomew County, Jill attended Burnsville Christian Church and graduated from Columbus East High School.  She was awarded a scholarship to play volleyball at Butler University where she was named an Academic All-American and the athletic conference’s Female Athlete of the Year.  She was inducted into Butler’s Athletic Wall of Fame in 2005.  After earning her degree, Jill married Steve Goeglein and began working for Kay Jewelers, but soon moved on to a career with USA Group in Fishers.  In 2000, she left USA Group to focus her attention on what truly mattered most to her, being a full-time mom to her three daughters. 

Jill loved to travel, play games with her family, and spend time outside including membership in the Indianapolis Hiking Club. Jill was an active member of Christ the Savior Lutheran, Christ Lutheran of Irvington, and Holy Cross Lutheran of Indianapolis and, most recently, had volunteered to serve on the launch team for Traders Point Christian Church.  

She is survived by her husband, Steve; her daughters, Kailyn (Daniel) Andersen of Clinton Township, Michigan, Allison Goeglein and Victoria Goeglein both of Noblesville; her brother, Patrick (Kim) Taylor and nephews, Tyce Taylor and Cory Taylor, all of Shelbyville.  

Calling & service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 8115 Oaklandon Road, Indianapolis 46236 Calling: Friday, August 9th, 4:30 pm to 7 pm and Saturday, August 10th, 10 am to 11 am Service: Saturday, August 10th, 11:30 am
