About Me

My neighbour Robyn is a SuperHero herself. Her dedication to empower children going through a mountain of adversity is humbling. I have experienced first hand how much impact Robyn's capes have on these kids and their families. Can you help me create even more TinySuperHeroes? I know if i'd have received one of these capes during my hospital stays it would have made my day. Let's give many amazing days to these kids. Are you able to make a donation?

EMPOWERING EXTRAORDINARY KIDS – ONE CAPE AT A TIME

What is TinySuperheroes?

My name is Robyn Rosenberger and I have been blessed with the incredible opportunity to run TinySuperheroes! In the summer of 2012 I dusted off my sewing machine and made a superhero cape for my nephew's second birthday. I then made one for my son but quickly realized there were other kids out there who actually WERE TinySuperheroes! I had been following the blog of a special girl named Brenna who was born with a very rare and severe skin disease. While I thought my son looked really cute in his cape, it became clear that Brenna NEEDED a cape! After empowering Super Brenna with her cape in January 2013, we featured her story on our blog to help raise awareness, and we were immediately met by dozens of other Extraordinary kids, each with their own remarkable story!Quickly, the dozens have turned into hundreds and in six months we have empowered over 670 TinySuperheroes in 40 states and 7 countries! We continue to share their stories on our blog to help raise awareness for each of them.It has become apparent that we have merely discovered the iceberg of TinySuperheroes that live among us, and it is our mission to empower each of them. Afterall, all TinySuperheroes need capes!

Why We're Here

To put it simply - we need your help! Our mission is two fold - first we want to empower them as the TinySuperheroes we know they are, then we want to help advocate for them by raising awareness for the obstacles they overcome. These funds will help us continue to buy fabric, sew, personalize, and ship each cape. It will also enable us to write & share each of their stories so that the world knows how Extraordinary they are!

The Impact

These capes are more than fabric. Sending TinySuperhero capes to children who are fighting illness and disability can actually change their life! First and foremost we think it is critically important that these kids and their families know that we know how Extraordinary they really are. Then, by sharing their story, we can help raise awareness. Raising awareness brings funding, funding leads to more research, and research brings cures for these incredible kids.

Read some of their stories here:www.tinysuperheroes.com.

What can I do to help?

There are over 150 TinySuperheros currently waiting for a capes and many more nominated each day. We need your support today. We would LOVE you to join our campaign by setting up a mini fundraising challenge of your own. Join us and help raise $120 from your family, friends and co-workers. $120 will empower four TinySuperheros currently waiting for a cape! Just click on 'Become a fundraiser'  on the right of the screen, and follow the 3 easy steps. All donations will go towards our total goal of $20,000. Would you like to make a donation instead - no problem Just click the 'please donate' button on top right of screen to make a contribution.

Thank you everyone for helping to empower exdorary kids - one cape at a time.

Warmest,

Robyn
