About Me

I'm Jamie Simpson, host of Reparations in Action, the weekly radio show of white people in solidarity with African Revolution and reparations to the black community which airs on Black Power 96.3 WBPU LP, St. Petersburg, FL Tuesdays at Noon Eastern. I am a member and organizer of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement, the organization of white people's reparations to African People created by and working under the leadership of the African People's Socialist Party. My wife, Sarah. is a high school English teacher and we have a beautiful 11 year old daughter. Sarah and our daughter volunteer together with Uhuru Foods and Pies, another non-profit of the African People's Education and Defense Fund. We have taught our daughter that it is necessary to oppose an economic system founded at the expense of the freedom of African and other oppressed and colonized Peoples for our benefit. The Black Power Blureprint allows us to support the anti colonial economy of the African Working Class and puts us on the right side of history!

This is what reparations looks like

The March for Reparations to African People is a major fundraising campaign to raise $20,000 (at least!) in material solidarity with the Black Power Blueprint - a St. Louis-based program that functions as a blueprint for black-led self-determination and empowerment in cities across the U.S. and world.

THIS is what reparations looks like! Reparations for the Black Power Blueprint.

The Black Power Blueprint is a black-led, anti-colonial, anti-gentrification program. It is led by the African working class, building their own political and economic power over their communities and resources.  The Black Power Blueprint is acquiring abandoned, dilapidated buildings, and initiating a rapid process of restoration or demolition to create black community-led, self-reliance programs that uplift the residents and engage them socially, politically and economically in the future of their community.

For white people, the stand of material solidarity with the Black Power Blueprint is a stance of reparations, acknowledging that the social wealth in the white community has come at the expense of colonialism, enslavement and oppression of African people and theft of their resources.

The stand of reparations for the Black Power Blueprint is a stand against police violence, mass incarceration, genocide, colonial poverty and all other forms of injustice and oppression. It is a stand for justice and reparations for African people, the only way that genuine peace for all humanity will be possible.
