Ella is the daughter of one of our members and last spring she was diagnosed with Leukemia. As a former pediatric oncology nurse I knew the road ahead for Ella and her family was going to be a difficult one. No parent should ever be told their child has cancer. Unfortunately, a little boy that Ella's family met through their hospital stays just recently lost his battle. No child should ever die from cancer! Please support us and help kick cancers ass!
We have set up an amazing chance to be #hEllaTough. Pulse Inferno will be hosting a 24 hour ride on April 27th to April 28th. It will be indoors and each team (6 to 8 people) will divide 24 hours and ride in honor of sweet Ella. I'm hosting a team of 8 and would love to have you join my team or a team here at Pulse Inferno (Feel free to PM me) or please feel free to donate to this amazing event. Proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Foundation. Our goal as a team is to raise $2,500 per team. With an over all goal of $25k. Any little bit helps. Thank you so much!!
On May 9th, 2018 Dave & Kate Borowski were blindsided by the news that their 6-year-old daughter had cancer.
“Our sweet, beautiful, funny, amazing daughter Ella was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. AML is an extremely aggressive and rare leukemia in children and has one of the poorest prognoses,” expressed her mother. Luckily for Ella, she did have an AML mutation with more favorable prognostic factors. She is now in remission after many months of hospital visits and chemo treatments. But remission is fragile and she could easily relapse.
Co-Owner of Pulse Inferno, Erin Long’s family is close with the Borowskis, as well as Ella being best friends with her daughter Paige. That’s why the #hELLAtough cause is so incredibly close to our hearts here at Pulse Inferno. Please join us for our 24 Hour Ride to fight childhood leukemia.
Are you hella tough? Join us Saturday, April 27th at 10:00am to kick off our 24 Hour Ride to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. To support our cause and ride with us you can either join a team or create your own. The teams will consist of 6 to 8 members and will ride for a total of 24 hours. Members of each team will divvy up the hours amongst themselves to complete the ride. The bike must be occupied for the entire 24 hours. The individual cost to participate in the ride is $50 and you will be assigned into a team if you don't already have one. Each team will be asked to raise $2,500 towards the foundation.
