Help me share Jesus with the kids and families in my neighborhood through comic book stories of the Bible illustrated by DC/Marvel artist Sergio Cariello!!

Our neighborhood is filled with kids. This Halloween, we expect a lot of visitors, and many of them don't know Jesus. We want to change that! Along with good candy, we'll be handing out copies of The Action Bible, a graphic novel-style version of the Bible illustrated by renowned Marvel and DC comics artist, Sergio Cariello. These outreach comics are high-quality, full color, and expensive to buy. But that's exactly what we want, because we believe that kids will throw away cheap paper tracts, but they will keep and read comics over and over again. Even some of their parents will read them, because everyone loves comic books and graphic novels! As they read, the Holy Spirit will work on their hearts and open their eyes to God's plan of salvation.
Now, you might be wondering, is this really an effective strategy? The answer is YES. As a child, I had similar comic books and graphic novel-style bibles, and I read them hundreds of times. First, the art and the tempo of the story just draw you in. Second, God moves on your heart to read because He wants to have a relationship with you. It doesn't work 100% of the time on 100% of people, but it is very effective.
We need at least $500 to do a decent outreach. If you want to make a difference, but you live in a low traffic neighborhood, this is a great opportunity.
