I have been working as a chef for the last 20 years In various restaurants and gastro pubs, and am now taking the leap acros the void into the world of ownership.
It is a big step for a chef to take and I am looking to you guys for some much needed support!
The opportunity I have found needs some TLC and is going to take some investment to truly get it where I believe it can be and restore its great history.
It is a quirky and homely café in a vibrant garden centre, a place to warm the cockles on a windy wet British morning, or refresh after an afternoon of a shopping for those house and garden essentials found around the different outlets in the centre .
The vision is for the café to start each day with a banging British breakfast, alongside a variety of homemade pastries. In the afternoon its time for tea and cake or a more hearty locally sourced lunch. Sundays will be the day to lay down the trowel and come grab an excellent traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings.
Your funding will help towards this vision, through initial capital expenditure, ongoing upgrades to the equipment, crockery and décor. It will be invested into expanding the social outreach of the business, improving the marketing systems, website creation and general reach to the key people; like yourselves who want a place to while away an afternoon in great company with provisions to match.
