Supporting the needs of a community has always seemed imperative. People are in need from our own backyards, to across the earth. I cherish this as opportunity to help globally.

About Me

Hi, I'm Claire! I am currently a 23 year old graduate from the University of Delaware. I have always been a naturally altruist person. Ever since I was young, I have volunteered within my own and other communities. I constantly look to help others because I believe even the smallest act of kindness can have far-reaching effects.

As of 2011, in Thailand, 13.2% of the population, around 8.78 million people, live under the poverty line. Habitat for Humanity works to ensure that all are given the opportunity for shelter and affordable housing; something many of us take for granted. Please help my team and I make an impact in the lives of these families by making a tax deductible donation. Every penny helps!!

Our team of 12 will be landing in Udon Thani, Thailand on January 4th ready to build a home for a family in need...in just 10 days.  We have a diverse team with members originating from California, Ohio, Georgia, Brazil and Australia.  Alongside Habitat Thailand staff, local masons, and a Habitat partner family, we're all working for a common purpose...to provide a home and hope for a better life.  We can't wait for this thrilling and rewarding experience!

Global Village is Habitat for Humanity’s international volunteer program. Teams travel to over 40 countries to work alongside communities, build housing solutions, and experience local culture. Our goal is to change the lives of the people we serve, as well as the lives of the volunteers.

About Habitat for Humanity International

Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity began in 1976 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. The housing organization has since grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in more than 1,300 communities throughout the U.S. and in more than 70 countries. Families and individuals in need of a hand up partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To learn more, visit habitat.org.
