I have started thinking more about all the different ways the dining room could be used. We have done a small amount of remodeling in order to give us different spaces. We moved the counter to the front and created a server station with old doors. I bought the doors in Slatyfork and I am certain my grandma Jo probably opened at least one of them in her life!  I would like the front right half of the dining room to be used as our retail space. This would be a place right up front by the windows where we would have pies, cookies, cakes, sauces, specialty teas and other food items for sale. I would like to have some non-perishables that you can't buy in Hillsboro available also. My hope is this may generate some sales on our off seasons. I am also thinking of getting into some other special items like music strings and stationary (down the road). I have been looking to purchase a display cooler for this space. My sister, AJ, is a very good baker and plans on keeping this cooler stocked with lovely desserts throughout the summer. I have found one for sale in Marlinton and it would be easy to move to the cafe.

This is where you come in. I need some more cash to make it happen!!

Just think. You can stop in and get a dozen cookies, or a whole pie! Kinda like a bakery. I also want to start selling greens by the pound and fresh eggs.

I am really trying to get the feel of a GENERAL STORE back into the dining room.

Would you consider donating to our cause. Your donation will help with the remodel of the space and the purchase of the cooler.

I am also on the verge of rolling out my Kettle Chips flavored with RAMPS!!! I plan on bagging 1000 bags to sell at various outlets this summer.

I have enclosed the logo for the chips, the back label will read:

In 2011 my then 2 year old daughter, Penelope Josephine, named after her grandmother and great grandmother, held a cup of clean water. She looked up at me and said, "Mommy this is my TOBASH!"  Having no idea what that meant she told me "it is a great way to express your feelings" The best way I know how to express my feelings is by cooking. Living in WV has given me great happiness. To me TOBASH is Tasty, Original, Balanced, Appalachian, Sustainable Happiness. From my family to yours, enjoy a little taste of almost heaven West Virginia.

Any help with this project would be greatly appreciated!!  And if you can't help out just listening to my ideas is great!! Thank you for your time.
