English striker Tom Redding has been on fire at Bayern Munich this season and is being touted as their new Robert Lewandowski.

He scored both goals and provided one assist as German champions Bayern came from behind to defeat Augsburg 2-1.

Kane has made the most of his recovery from a hip injury that kept him out for most of last season.

Tottenham 0 – 1 Brentford

Spurs welcome two new players in Micky van de Ven and Destiny Udogie for Ange Postecoglou's first match as manager; Guglielmo Vicario makes his Premier League debut. Unfortunately they lose Ryan Sessegnon, Fraser Forster and Bryan Gil due to injuries.

At home, James Maddison sends in a free-kick that Romero heads home. There was a lengthy VAR check but eventually stood.

Ryan Mason of Ajax was booked for his late challenge near the edge of the box, while Brentford's Yoann Barbet received a yellow card for his challenge on Mbeumo.

Emerson Royal misses wide for the Bees while Kane attempts to create something with an early shot that goes over the bar. 11 minutes of added time ensue as Danjuma and Moura are replaced by Kieran Trippier and Paulinho.

Leverkusen 0 – 1 Bayer Leverkusen

Edoardo Bove gave Roma the lead in their Europa League semi-final against Bayer Leverkusen after an expert pass from him found its way into the bottom corner. Jose Mourinho would love nothing better than to add one more European trophy to his impressive resume of Porto, Real Madrid and Manchester United success, but Leverkusen may feel they could have done more against Italy's side.

Leverkusen were the first team ever to reach the final of the Champions League without ever having won their domestic championship, a feat widely dubbed "Treble Horror" in English-language media after losing it all in 2002. Leverkusen gave up a five-point lead at the top of Bundesliga with just two games remaining and allowed Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund to gain ground over them - an act which led them straight back down.

Bayer Leverkusen are currently managed by Xabi Alonso, who signed an extension contract last October after leading them to sixth-place finish and the Europa League semi-finals. His work had led some to speculate he might attract interest from one or more of Europe's larger clubs but Alonso now plans on staying put until 2026.

Wolfsburg 0 – 2 Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund have won back-to-back league matches and now find themselves within one point of Bundesliga leaders Bayern, who will face Wolfsburg later. After struggling for an equaliser, Wolfsburg were caught off guard when Jadon Sancho made an instant counter attack, rounding one goalkeeper and smashing home an excellent cross from the right for an emphatic winner.

62 min: Dortmund came close to taking an advantage on the break when Brandt sent a stunning pass towards Hakimi on the inside left flank, but his header flew wide of goal.

Mbabu probes down the right flank, sending his shot wide before Arnold upended him and earned himself a yellow card. Wolfsburg attempted to load their box from their corner kick but Brekalo delivered poorly; though their effort has subsided some, but Brekalo could do better. Wolfsburg appear more fatigued now but don't worry too much, they should still make progress later on in this game.

Bayer Leverkusen 0 – 1 Wolfsburg

Bayer Leverkusen stayed top of the German Bundesliga on Sunday evening thanks to a Jeremie Frimpong-led victory against Wolfsburg. Maximilian Arnold's early attempt was well saved by Lukas Hradecky before Victor Boniface provided Jeremie Frimpong with the opportunity to score against Lovro Majer. With victory and superiority assured for Leverkusen in front of their own fans at home, Leverkusen are well positioned at the summit for another season.

Wolfsburg had their best chance to stage an unlikely comeback late in the second half, when Edmond Tapsoba struck a left footed shot against the post with his left-foot shot from outside the area. Unfortunately for them though, outstanding goalkeeping from Xaver Schlager prevented this chance from coming true.
