Andie & Ashley

About The Team

We believe our farm is a portrait of ourselves. Our drive for being vegetable growers stems from the desire to provide our family, friends, and community with clean, organic, fresh produce. Our techniques and approach to producing food allows for a more intimate connection ot the earth. We are always exploring concepts around bio-nutrients, soil health, biodiversity, and regenerative agriculture. We feel farmers need to be co-leaders in innovation and conservation. We need to be creative, knowledgable, and humble.

In order to truly flourish and implement new ideas and concepts, we wish to find a place to call our own! A place that invites opportunity and hope. A new space provides a blank canvas for us to paint our future. One that is beautiful and thriving with perennials such as fruit, nuts, berries, and more. We crave the intimacy of living on the same land that we work with our hands and bodies. A place where we can rest our tired bones after a hard day's work.

Please become a supporter of our new journey!

More Info

Andie Donnan and Ashley Neises are my heros.

Our hearts tell us a more beautiful world is possible. Andie and Ashley are builders of that more beautiful world.

With courage, they have released their fears, stepping full time into doing what they most love.

The food they grow is helping to heal our bodies, our community, our soil and animal companions, and the earth itself.

I am beyond grateful for the ongoing support of the Sisters of Sinsinawa Mound. Their generosity and loving stewardship has allowed Andie and Ashley to become the leaders and healers we need. The sisters have been midwives to Sandhill farm and the more beautiful world of which it is a part.

Yet these young people yearn for land to call their own, a place where they can invest in fruit trees, vines and other perennials. They yearn to see the sun rise and set over their beautiful gardens. They crave the intimacy of living on the same land they work with their hands and bodies.

They deserve this! In my opinion, it is not only their birthright, it is a right they have earned with their hard work and devotion to farming.

If you are a young friend of Andie and Ashley, I beg you to take the time to send them what you can with a hope, a prayer, an intention or some meditation for the fulfillment their dreams, knowing that as you do so, you will be singing a powerful note of hope and healing for this planet.

Your gift to them will strike against the lie of separation that whispers our doom.

If you are older, like me, and you have the resources of a home of your own, savings, a vehicle or two, a retirement account…. Give them more.

Most of what we have accumulated has resulted from the exploitation of people’s labor and the land itself, our shared body, Mother Earth. Everything we give to the young is critically important.

Your gift to Andie and Ashley (and please make it BIG!) will show them, and all young people, change is possible. We care what happens to the future.
