UPDATED POST 4/17/22: This was my third and final goal before I head off for the Deaflympics in Brazil. It was an amazing 3,373ft elevation gain trail run. Our first game against Iraq is in two weeks and I'm getting ready for game day. This will be my first time playing at the Deaflympics and I couldn't be more excited. I currently live in Seattle where I spend most of my time hiking and exploring the pacific northwest. I've been on the US Deaf Men's National Team (USDMNT) since 2008, having played at the Deaf World Cup 3 times and Pan America twice. However, this will be my first time playing at the Deaflympics and I couldn't be more excited. In 2019, we won the first ever gold medal for USDMNT at the Pan American Games in Chile and we're ready to win another victory in Brazil in 2022. To help raise money for the USA Deaf Soccer Association, I'm taking this challenge to the next level by matching donations with elevation gain. For every financial goal I meet, I'll take on increasingly difficult hikes, matching the elevation gain to the total amount of donations received. Our first goal to hit is $1,000 and will continue all the way until my final goal of $6,000. I will post updates here as I meet the following goals with your donations and support.
