For over 40 years, Immanuel Christian School has provided a financially accessible, grace-filled, Christ-centered education shaping students to become lifelong learners who serve their community with integrity. We have a diverse student body reflecting Greater Hazleton’s population, and we are intentional about serving A.C.E. students: Academically disenfranchised, Culturally diverse, and Economically disadvantaged. On Friday, September 23, students in grades K–12 will run laps around a ¼ mile course to raise funds so that more students have the opportunity to have the ICS education.

This race helps students take ownership of their education by giving them the opportunity to make a personal investment in their school year while participating in a community-building event. It is consistent with the ICS School Motto: Love for Christ, Service Before Self, and In All Things Honor. For some students, this may be the pivotal moment where they learn that when things are challenging, and they work hard, they can overcome! We have healthy competition and incentives set up among student teams, and we will have lots of people cheering them on. We can't wait to see how many miles our students run!
