This summer I have the privilege of traveling to Rwanda, Africa to visit the people of the Base (Bah-say) region. I will be traveling with a team from my home church, Temple Bible Church, to start Impact vacation Bible school with the churches there.
Impact is a day camp for kids of all ages in which we will sing songs, play games, and teach them all about what Jesus Christ has done for them. I was able to participate in Impact as a high schooler for kids in the Temple area, but this will be the first time to conduct these camps in Rwanda. This summer we hope to pave the way for these camps to continue for many years to come.
I would love for you to consider supporting me in couple of ways:
1. Prayer: Please pray for my team, that we will be unified, have safe travel, and that we will be ready to serve and love on the people of Rwanda. Also pray for the kids and adults we will be sharing with, that they will be ready to receive what God has for them. Please pray for the children we will be working with. Pray that they will understand what Jesus did for each one of them and how much He loves and cares for them. Also pray that I would be prepared and open to what the Lord has to teach me on this trip, and that He will show me how to best display His love to these precious kids.
2. Financial support: Another way you can support me is through donation. This trip will cost around $3000 for airfare, lodging, food, and some of the ministry we will be doing in Rwanda.
