Pau & Gabi's TECHO trip to Cartagena

Pau & Gabi's TECHO trip to Cartagena

From Pau Hernandez

We're raising money for a trip to Cartagena, Colombia to build houses with a non-profit organization called TECHO. ONE house costs $2,400, so we need your help to raise money for tools and basic supplies.

More Info

Dear family and friends,

Last year, some friends went to the Dominican Republic to build houses with TECHO. They introduced us to the organization and since then we have been wanting go and help. This October, we are going with my parents and other friends and volunteers. But we can't go without your help...

TECHO is a non-profit organization and like everything, it needs funding to back it. There are costs that the volunteers handle like plane tickets, hotel fares, dining, and transportation--but one house costs $2,400 to build-- and resources like tools, alimentation, and materials need to be donated by people like you!

We have never been to South America before and we are so lucky that our first time there will be such a memorable, humbling experience building houses. TECHO's slogan "juntos para un mundo  sin pobreza " (together for a world without poverty), may sound ambitious, but every dollar counts-- and your money will be put to good use changing the lives of people, one house at a time.

Thank you so much/ muchisimas gracias ,

Paulina y Gabi
