Pakathon is a global movement with a mission to connect entrepreneurs, researchers and technologists from Pakistan to those around the world. Our goal is to create sustainable projects and companies that make an impact and shape the future of Pakistan and beyond.
Pakathon is a unique event in the tech and social enterprise space:
- Scale: A synchronous global event being hosted across 16 different cities in the U.S., Canada, and Pakistan
- Engage: A platform for the Pakistani diaspora and the global professional community to contribute actionable, tangible ideas to create change in Pakistan
- Rebrand: Draw focus to the growing startup ecosystem and change the conversation around Pakistan
About Pakathon NYC
PakathonNYC is calling all developers, designers, marketers and strategists on Sept 26-28 for a synchronous hackathon weekend taking place in 16 cities globally. Teams will come up with a social impact idea for Pakistan and transform it into a working prototype and business plan. Projects will be formulated along one of the following tracks: health, education, retail, human rights, or finance. The winning NYC team will participate in the global Pakathon event in October to compete for prizes of up to $10,000 to implement projects and turn their social impact vision into reality.
