About The Team

It will be wonderful for staff to have desktop computers with cameras. This will allow them to have virtual face to face meeting with fathers, as well as participate in Zoom and Teams meetings, fully, safely and at their desks. COVID has completely changed the need for technology to keep us all connected.

Personally,  my IT story is related to my mom. My Mom received an IPAD about a year and a half ago. She would be frustrated when she could not reach family members on the phone. I suggested that the best way to communicate with her grandchildren, as well as her children during the day was to text. At first she was hesitant. She would send a text and then not check it for a week and then she would forget how to do it. We kept encouraging her and she started texting. We even got an emoji text from Mom! Of course, we still talk on the phone and see each other, but her ability to connect with family (especially younger  members) for a quick check in, or to even arrange to get together or have a phone call has been huge!

Please consider a gift to help MFC Intervention Specialists have desktop computer upgrades that will not only give us access to the current IOS, offering cyber security and the latest compatibility, and most importantly, enabling us to serve fathers in the most effective matter.

More Info

In the age of Zoom meetings, it is important to have computers with cameras.  Our team is looking to raise $10,000 for IT upgrades that will allow our intervention specialists to work one-on-one with fathers. During COVID, especially,  it is both safer for staff, as well as being better for the fathers we serve.
