This will be my second DR medical mission trip. 5 of us are heading to San Juan to set up mobile clinics in barrios in the area. For some Dominicans, it may be the only medical attention they get as some of the villages are quite remote. Our team will see up to 200 patients per day, a number of whom will walk many miles to be seen.
The first time that I went on this trip I figured that I would be changing lives of others, but instead they were the ones who changed mine.
