About Me

Help me reach my goal of $500. Every $5 gift will get me closer to my goal. If you leave the name of someone you want to tribute your gift to, I will send you a hand written thank you for your generous gift. My mom is encouraging me to get SLIMED with my babysitter Isabella who is a Junior at Amherst High School and created this event. It's going to be a fun event for all our schools & I can help my moms work at Kevin Guest House too! Thank you for considering helping our school’s efforts for Kevin Guest House. Many thanks, Helena & Lynsey Weaver (P.S. You can also mail donations to Kevin Guest House at 782 Ellicott Street, Buffalo NY 14203. Just remember to put the name by name in the memo field and who you are making this gift in honor of).

We hope you will consider donating a service, in-kind item or gift card to help us with our inaugural event to show families can help other families in need. Principal Pigeon has encouraged us to get involved with Kevin Guest House to learn more about giving back but also to host families from the elementary & middle school levels to enjoy a safe & family fun event at our school.

A student led event aims to encourage our students to volunteer together to host a Halloween themed trick-o-treat celebration for the entire school district community and fundraise to keep families together during medical crisis and ease the financial hardships they face. We expect to host 200 or more people to enjoy trick or treating with our teachers in their classrooms, photos with princesses & superheroes, food & drink, fall seasoned crafts & activities, music & dancing and other Halloween themed age appropriate fun. Some of us will be fundraising online & be SLIMED with our teachers as a class competition to raise even more. As high school students, we want to lead by example and show our younger friends that giving back to families in need is a great way to have fun too!

Kevin Guest House serves an average of 2,000 families annually that travel to Buffalo’s renowned medical community for lifesaving treatment.  As America’s first healthcare hospitality house, they’ve provide a home away from home for more than 56,000 guests for 47 years. Your support plays a vital role in the success of Kevin Guest House and the continuation of their mission.
