This year, I have the opportunity to be a part of the Tijuana Home Build organization which raises money to build a home for a family in need in Tijuana, Mexico. Last semester I was able to go down to Tijuana and build a home alongside community members, friends, the Casas De Luz team and the family receiving the home. It was a moving experience to give a family a place to relax, make memories and spend quality time with each other as well as hear their story. Beyond excited to raise money and build homes for multiple families!
