About Me

A group of community-minded women have come together to raise $90,000 to build a home for a single mother. Construction will begin in March 2020, and an all-female volunteer crew will complete the build!

Here's how you can get involved:

1. Join us!: Members of the Women Build project commit to give or raise a minimum of $250 to support construction costs and secure a spot on the volunteer crew. Members also have access to monthly meetings featuring keynote speakers presenting on women-focused topics related to health, finance, confidence, and more. Email me to learn more and join our mailing list!

2. Invest: A contribution of any amount toward our $90,000 is appreciated! Use the "Donate" button on this page to make a contribution via my personal fundraising page for this project (it's connected directly to Habitat for Humanity).

Interested in corporate sponsorship? Email me to learn more.

3. Build With Us: Want to participate in the build, but don't want to meet the $250 membership requirement? There may be open spots on select build days, but Women Build members and corporate sponsors will be assigned first. Email me and I'll add you to our mailing list so you can stay up to date on project progress, and build day volunteer opportunities.

More Info

Habitat for Humanity North Central Georgia (NCG) Women Build 2020 empowers and inspires women to build homes for low income families in their communities!

Construction for the inaugural Habitat for Humanity-NCG Women Build home will begin in early 2020 in Forsyth or Cherokee County. During this 12-week build, over 300 women will come together to build a home for a deserving family in need of affordable, safe, and stable housing. The all-female volunteer crew will frame the walls, hang drywall, install siding, paint the interior and exterior, and landscape the yard among other tasks. Fundraising is underway now, and Women Build members have committed to raise $90,000 to help cover the cost of construction materials for this project.
