About Me
Thank you for viewing my page. I am an Interior Designer and I live in the Bay Area, CA. Helping people that are less fortunate than I am has always been something I wanted to do for as long as I can remember. I've learned to appreciate so much in life ever since I traveled globally with Habitat on the builds. My first trip was building a home in Vietnam in 2017, then I went to Brazil last year to build water cisterns for 3 families. This year, I am really excited to go to Thailand for another home construction. I've learned that if you have something in your life that you can share with people, you can make a big impact in their life, even just a small amount of time. I want to continue to make these experiences be part of my career. Not only I help change someone else's life, by doing this, it changes mine too. It's an experience that will stay and grow with you overtime. Look outside of your comfort zone once in awhile, you'll realize there are places and people in the world that still need our help. Help me make this trip happen, and we can help the world little by little together.

Thailand’s National Housing Authority estimates nearly 8.2 million of the country’s 67 million inhabitants live in substandard housing.
Poverty is widespread in the rural northeast, far north and far south of the country. Migration from rural areas has placed a strain upon the supply of affordable land. Migrants face high rent for small rooms and often live in overcrowded areas without proper sanitation. Squatter settlements are commonly seen along railway lines or near port and industrial areas.In addition to its traditional homebuilding model, Habitat Thailand uses a progressive building model in which homeowner partners construct a two-room core house with an open space, then add rooms and walls after three years or once a certain amount of the initial mortgage is repaid.
Global Village is Habitat for Humanity’s international volunteer program. Teams travel to over 40 countries to work alongside communities, build housing solutions, and experience local culture. Our goal is to change the lives of the people we serve, as well as the lives of the volunteers.
