We are campaigning to raise awareness and research into pancreatic cancer. One of my team memebers and Best friends father was recently diagnosed with this cancer, which made me think why don't we ever see the purple ribbon? I want to make a difference increase awareness and funding. Long term funding & philanthropic efforts have proven successful in the battle against breast cancer as well as other types of cancer. Pancreatic cancer research has not seen the same strides of success. Cancer patients are not only those with the disease; the family memebers and their close friends also feel the pain of this illness. We need  innovation and to generate money to help work for a cure to end the suffering
