IDEA Mission CP is a charter school located in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. Our students are incredibly motivated and dedicated, and it is our goal to be able to take them to a premier Model UN conference for the fourth consecutive year.
Registration fees for NAIMUN (http://naimun.modelun.org) are due by October 11 to qualify for financial aid (which we are also applying for), and our fundraiser on Fundly aims to alleviate the financial burder on our students.
Students are actively fundraising on their own and as a group, but travelling to DC is a large expenditure. Covering registration fees makes an important impact in allowing students the incredible opportunity to attend this conference in Washington DC, allowing them to learn more about international affairs and the world around them. Additionally, it serves as an amazing opportunity for our students to interact with students from all over the United States and the world, an opportunity not usually afforded to them.
