I’m the fundraising chairperson for PASO (Physician Assistant Student organization) at Miami Dade College for class of 2021. Our annual community outreach project is Project S.E.E.D., October 12. Project S.E.E.D. is an event where we provide health screenings, vaccinations, physical exams, and more for the migrant workers and low income families of South Miami-Dade. I need help from the community to raise funds and donated items to help the families of migrant workers in Homestead, Fl.
The last few years have been quite successful for Project S.E.E.D. and we want to double our reach and have mobile mammography, men's health prostate cancer screening, eye exams, physical exams and vaccinations.
Miami Dade College Physician Assistant program has this as our mission: Serving Everyone Embracing Diversity.
