Halley Murray fundraising for March For Reparations: Fund the Black Power Blueprint

From Halley Murray

If African people had political and economic power over their lives, George Floyd would still be alive today. Please help me raise resources for the Black Power Blueprint!

Update #2

Thank you so much to Alexx, Ron, Renee, Janice, Jackson, Leah and Michael for contributing to my fundraiser! I will put in another $50 today because the Black Power Blueprint is so important to me and I want to see it succeed. .
I encourage everyone to attend this powerful online discussion next Wednesday, Sept. 30th at 7pm EST to learn more about the history and significance of the African People's Solidarity Committee. I am a proud member of this organization and it has given me so much clarity and focus in how to be a better organizer for reparations, especially the importance of winning support from the white community for the Black Power Blueprint project. It will be a discussion with Chairman Omali Yeshitela of the African People's Socialist Party, and Chairwoman Penny Hess of the African People's Solidarity Committee. You can register at tinyurl.com/apsc44 and I hope to see you there!

Political education is important to this fundraiser I'm holding because we're not just "raising money", but this fundraising campaign for the March for Reparations is hosted by the Uhuru Solidarity Movement which is white people supporting an independent African economy so that black people everywhere can control their own neighborhoods and resources. Please consider making a contribution towards my goal of $500. Thank you so much!

About Me

Please sponsor me in the March for Reparations to African People because reparations is the most critical question of our time for white people to support. Especially in Boston where the average black household has $8 in assets and white families have $247,500 in assets, that is outrageous! White people, we have to do more than hold a sign and go home, we have to take action and stand in material solidarity with black power. We are marching to demand that Wall Street and the city of Boston pay reparations to African people to support black self determination projects like the Black Power Blueprint. Check out the videos and photos on my page to learn more it. Register to march with us in Philadelphia at PhillyMarchForReparations.eventbrite.com

This is what reparations looks like

The March for Reparations to African People is a major fundraising campaign to raise $20,000 (at least!) in material solidarity with the Black Power Blueprint - a St. Louis-based program that functions as a blueprint for black-led self-determination and empowerment in cities across the U.S. and world.

THIS is what reparations looks like! Reparations for the Black Power Blueprint.

The Black Power Blueprint is a black-led, anti-colonial, anti-gentrification program. It is led by the African working class, building their own political and economic power over their communities and resources.  The Black Power Blueprint is acquiring abandoned, dilapidated buildings, and initiating a rapid process of restoration or demolition to create black community-led, self-reliance programs that uplift the residents and engage them socially, politically and economically in the future of their community.

For white people, the stand of material solidarity with the Black Power Blueprint is a stance of reparations, acknowledging that the social wealth in the white community has come at the expense of colonialism, enslavement and oppression of African people and theft of their resources.

The stand of reparations for the Black Power Blueprint is a stand against police violence, mass incarceration, genocide, colonial poverty and all other forms of injustice and oppression. It is a stand for justice and reparations for African people, the only way that genuine peace for all humanity will be possible.
