More Info

Hawai‘i Animal Kuleana Alliance has sent Animal Search and Rescue teams to Maui to aid Maui Humane Society with field operations in the wake of this unprecedented natural tragedy. Volunteers will be going into the field to assess the situation, help rescue animals that may have run from fire areas, assist with fulfilling community needs, and help animals and their people in the wake of the Maui wildfires.

Field operatives need financial assistance with supplies, gear, uniform items, airfare to and from Maui, housing, food and beverage, and other items. Our coordination teams on Big Island also needs supplies, gas, etc as we dig in to support our field teams.

Please kōkua and aid our trained and experienced teams as they assist our neighbors, friends, and ‘ohana on Maui.

About HAKAHawaiʻi Animal Kuleana Alliance (HAKA) is the premier disaster and emergency rescue organization of Hawaiʻi Island. Our origin as a grassroots Facebook group that evolved into a nonprofit has allowed us to experience and evaluate the needs of our community and island.
