Building a city of hope for families in Nigeria

Ever wondered the number of people without a roof over their heads? What if I told that almost 100 million Nigerians are living on less than a $1 a day, despite economic growth. The National Bureau of Statistics said 60.9% of Nigerians are living in "absolute poverty"  this figure is rising.

Are you surprised! I was too… despite the pandemic, our brothers and sisters in Nigeria are dealing with a more fierce and unforgiving crisis, POVERTY.  Well, it’s our weakness to care. However, we are not given equally, which gives room for us to share the little we have with our brothers and sisters in trouble.

Our Movement “ It's Just That Simple ! give $5 and tag 5”

We at NBCC are pleading to 50,000 people to join the Hope City Movement. The focus is to help us build safe and affordable housing for families in Nigeria.

Every human being should have a safe shelter in which to live. This is the fundamental belief driving us at NBCC.

Our Organization “New Beginnings Community Co-op (NBCC)”

New Beginnings Community Co-op (NBCC) is a non-profit organization that builds sustainable communities in developing countries. We are passionate about eliminating poverty and making positive changes by creating communities and strengthening families. We believe a strong community builds a strong economy. As community creators, we will turn vacant land into sustainable communities that are safe and well maintained- meaning safe homes, schools, businesses, and clinics. Our communities can start supporting themselves with no need for charity.

Our Mission: to empower impoverished families to become homeowners, business owners, and active members of their community built upon hope through action.

Our Vision: to develop sustainable and nurturing communities in developing countries that contain safe and secure homes, clean water supply, schools, businesses, clinics, stores, restaurants, and more.

We believe in the goodness of people around the world to chip in.

We recognize that some may want to do more, and we welcome and encourage you to be creative and generous in your giving.  For example, your $5.00 contribution can be a one-time donation or monthly. For those of you who choose to give more, we welcome that also. All donations are tax-deductible.

Our Goal

The donations will build new 2-bedroom homes that will be equipped with clean running water sources for personal use such as drinking, cooking, and cleaning.

Our Houses will include:

Safety & Security

Each community will be gated and have 24-hour security and surveillance.

Maintenance

Each community will have a maintenance team, undergoing regular inspections to ensure that the homes stay in impeccable condition for our deserving families.

Clean Water

Each home will be equipped with clean running water sources for personal use such as drinking, cooking, and cleaning

Education Opportunities

Free education classes on home ownership, family budgeting, and key life skills.

Community Clinic

After the home building, we will create a low-income clinic, learning schools, and economic opportunities for the families — all owned and operated by the members of the Hope Community.

The Power of 5!

Imagine the power of 50,000 people giving to help families in need!  Together, we will become 50,000 Strong! Let us do the math, 50,000 people, each donates $5 dollars. That would be $250,000 dollars. Enough amount to change the lives of Nigerian families.

It feels good being part of a life-changing program, Right?

Let us sacrifice our coffee and give a family back in Nigeria a roof over their head.

How to be part of the NBCC Movement

Your generous contribution, prayers, and donation of resources will help make our dream of making the dreams of families in Nigeria come true. The New Beginnings Community Co-op (NBCC) organization wishes to spend the surplus contribution to support children and families in Nigeria by hiring professionals. The professionals will help the community unite through establishing a sense of purpose. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. We believe that people do need to have purposeful lives. The program is estimated to lower the cost of living to Nigerians giving them room to invest in businesses and grow economically.

Help NBCC Organization to build a roof and protect the life of a family in Nigeria.  Donate today by visiting our fundraising page or visit our website at https://www.nbcchopecities.org/donate/ and pledge your contribution.
