Since my last update post, my beloved mother passed away on September 22, 2023. It has been an incredibly challenging time for my family and me. We are deeply saddened by the loss, and we are still trying to come to terms with it.

Empowering Her Home: Update September 18, 2023

I hope my update finds everyone well. I wanted to take a moment to provide you with an update regarding the urgent matter I mentioned in my previous donation request. Unfortunately, the situation has taken a turn for the worse, and I find myself in desperate need of your assistance.

Since my last correspondence, my mother's health has deteriorated rapidly. Her kidneys are failing, and the doctors have informed us that she has only been given a few days to live. It has been an incredibly challenging time for our family, filled with fear and uncertainty.

A few days ago, my mother was discharged from Lake Forest Hospital in Illinois, where she had been receiving medical care. As her condition is critical, it is imperative that we make arrangements for her final resting place and fulfill her last wishes. This includes the cost of her burial service and the logistics of flying her body from Chicago to Georgia, where she will be laid to rest.

The financial strain on our family has been overwhelming, and we are reaching out to our community for support during this difficult time.
