Update #5

The online fundraising campaign for #missionDziuche has ended. The final tally appears to be $6550. To all that donated, THANK YOU!! I never dreamed once I setup the Fundly page that we would pass the goal; ease the burden, yes; meet the goal, anything is possible; but pass it by $1550, no. Thank you and I pray God blesses you for your generosity.
But. it doesn't end here. We leave Arkansas in 29 days. This time next month we will be boots on the ground in Dzuiche, working, living and sharing the Good News of Jesus.
We need your prayers as we travel and serve. If you're able, we need VBS supplies. Additionally those of us traveling could use additional financial support for our expenses.
As I said, it doesn't end here. There is always a need. Jesus tells us in Luke 10:2 the "the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into His harvest." There is much yet to be done, I encourage you to seek your place in the harvest.
Thank you again and God Bless each of you and your families,
James Hardage

More Info

In July our team from Caney and Heritage Baptist Churches were in Peto, Yucatan, working on the mission and holding a Vacation Bible School. While in the area we visited with Bro. Matias Lopez at the Mission in Dziuche, Quintano Roo.

The Church is currently meeting in the Hut pictured above. Bro Matias has begun digging the footings for a new building. It is the intention of both our Churches to return to Dziuche in January to begin the first phase of the new Church.

The purpose of this campaign is to raise the necessary funds to purchase the blocks, sand and masonry to complete this phase.

Update #4

As you can see from the numbers, we had a great week last week.. Not only did we receive $695 in donations here on the website, we also received $590 in check donations and $100 in cash donations.
When you allow for the website fees ($55) that's a total donation of $1330 that will be sent to Mission Dziuche next week! God truly is great and hears our prayers.
In addition to these moneys Bro. Jeremy received a love offering from a Church in Oklahoma for $300 this week as well. That brings the total raised so far to $2340. Almost half of our $5k goal!!
Let me say thank you to each of you who have donated. Share this great news with your friends and the other half of the funds will come. The Lord is Blessing!
