My name is Ben Milbury. I am from troop 81 at Independent Presbyterian Church located in Memphis, Tennessee. My project is building six raised garden beds in the back of Resurrection Catholic School. The school receives little goverment funding, and is for grades K through 6. In addition to the garden beds I am planting plum and pear trees, as well as purchasing picnic tables. This project will give the kids an opportunity to discover gardening and learn how to grow healthy, organic food that will help combat obesity. The picnic tables can be used during the warm weather for lunch due to limited cafeteria space. I appreciate all those who donate and contribute!
