Jake, Heather, Willow and River are on a mold recovery journey. We as their friends and family are coming alongside them, praying and believing for complete health and restoration, and helping replace what they need.

They moved! They are replacing large items one at a time. They just were able to order a new mattress (THANK YOU for your donations to make this possible!) They are still working on replacing more and are waiting for more quotes from doctors this week to get the best tests possible.
This year, Jake, Heather and the girls have come to the realization that they were living in a home that had mold. It's affected their sleep, breathing/coughing, sinuses, brain function, the girl's behavior, and more. They came to Florida (Heather's sister here, Hi!) for healing and to begin their bright future forward. Tomorrow they begin the next phase of their journey: moving everything out of their old place and facing getting rid of many of their personal belongings.
They will be beginning their new life in Tennessee (and we are excited to see the plans that The Lord has for their family) but will be starting from scratch for their family's health. As Children of God, we know that our hope is in Christ, and not in our possessions of this world; our true home is heaven. Their faith has been strong through this challenging time, an encouragement to see, and the girls have been so resilient.
How amazing would it be, for us, as their Family and Friends, to come alongside them to give them the blessing of starting new.
The things they will need include:
- king sized mattress, box spring and bed frame
- two twin mattresses
- sheets, blankets duvets and pillows for all three beds
- rugs, bath towels, kitchen towels
- window and shower curtains
- A sofa
- area rugs
- all their winter clothes including sweaters, coats, shoes, etc (that were in storage in a moldy closet).
- medical tests to see the levels of mold in their bodies
- medical plans including supplements, therapies, IVs, to clear the mold from their organs. Many of these therapies aren't included in insurance plans.
