Goosepecker Trekker

Since 1991, the Sheepscot Wellspring Land Alliance has worked with landowners to conserve more than 1500 acres of land and create 19 miles of public trails in and around the Sheepscot River headwaters in Montville, Freedom, and Knox. The Hike-A-Thon aims to raise funds to support the maintenance of our current trail system and the future expansion of priority conserved lands. The hike on the Goose Ridge Trail and Hills to Sea Trail includes panoramic views that showcase rolling hills, fields, and intimate forest settings. The 3.5-mile hike will be topped off with a delicious lunch including local food, refreshments and music at Village Farm in Freedom, a premier CSA (community supported agriculture) family farm in Waldo County. Lunch includes a Goosepecker Trekker Ale from Marshall Wharf brewery! Families welcome - register as one individual and note extra lunches as needed. Teams welcome – contact us at [email protected] to register.
