I participate in the ALS of Utica Walk/Run in memory of my mother, Helen Pardi. My mom was diagnosed with ALS in March 2005. After a courageous 2 year battle with this cruel and fatal disease, she passed away on March 17, 2007. My mother was a big part of my life and someone who is missed greatly by many. We walk to keep her memory alive! Team Helen has been walking in honor/memory of Helen Pardi since 2006. Team Helen is made up of Helen's family and friends who loved and were loved by her. We all want to help spread awareness and support for those suffering from this terrible disease. Please join us in fighting ALS! The support my mother and my family received from the ALS of Utica during my mother's illness cannot be described with words alone. They were so helpful in many different ways. We walk to raise money to help them do for others what they did for us. Many thanks for your support.
